How are images stored in the camera?
- Images are stored in either internal flash memory or optional removable, reusable CompactFlash cards. Providing both internal and removable storage offers users maximum storage flexibility. Internal camera memory ensures that the camera is always ready to capture pictures, even if the optional memory cards have been misplaced, lost or damaged. Optional storage cards enable users to expand storage capacity according to their usage needs. Since the pictures are stored in flash memory chips, pictures can be retained for up to one year without power.
