The camera has no power. What I should I do?

• Make sure the lens cover is open all the way. Also, the camera may have automatically shut itself off. If this is the case, simply close and then open the lens cover or press the shutter button once to power the camera back on. Check the batteries and verify that they are charged and that they are installed correctly. If the camera is new and you just installed the NiMH batteries that come with the camera, make sure to charge the batteries three times before you install the batteries in your camera. Please refer to section 1 in the User's Guide for more details. When using the AC adapter, make sure it is plugged into a working outlet.
