The OneTouch feature is not working with my scanning program. What should I do?

• The one touch function only works with programs that are OneTouch compliant, like Smart Panel, Windows Imaging, and Photoshop 5.0LE or Full Edition or later (not included with the scanner).
  
  These applications support linking scanner events with the Start button on Windows 98, 2000, Me or XP and enable the scanner monitor utility. For details on how to set up one-touch scanning, see "Using the Start Button" in your EPSON Perfection 1660 Photo Reference Guide. For Macintosh users, you must install EPSON Smart Panel™.
