What do the product's lights indicate?
The status light indicates the scanner's status:
*If an error occurs, the scanner may not be properly connected to your computer or your software may not be fully installed. To make sure the scanner is correctly installed, uninstall Epson Scan as described in Uninstalling Epson Scan. Then follow the instructions on your Start Here sheet to reinstall it. If that does not solve the problem, try pressing the Power button for 3 seconds to turn off the scanner, then press it again to turn it on. If the Status light is still flashing, contact Epson support.
Color Indicator Status Meaning Green On Ready to scan. Flashing Initializing (warming up) or scanning. Red Flashing An error has occurred.* (None) Off The scanner is off.
