How do I reinstall Epson Scan in Windows?

  • Follow the instructions below.

    Uninstall Scanner Driver:
    1. Turn off the scanner.
    2. Disconnect the scanner's interface cable from your computer.
    3. Click Start and select Control Panel.
    4. Double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon.
    5. Select Epson Scan from the list.
    6. Click Change/Remove.
    7. In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.

    Reinstall Scanner Driver:
    1. Go to the Downloads tab.
    2. Click the latest version of the Epson Scan for your version of Windows, then click Download Now.
    3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver.
    4. When prompted, click Finish.
    5. Turn your scanner on and reconnect it to the computer. Windows should detect new hardware and complete the installation automatically.
    6. Restart your computer.
