What do my product's lights indicate?

    Scanner Light Status

    You can often diagnose problems with your scanner by checking its lights.



    1  power light
    2  Wake Up/Sleep light
    3 Ready light
    4 Error light
    Light status Condition/solution
    Ready light is on Ready to scan
    Ready light is flashing Initializing or scanning
    Ready and Error lights are flashing Updating firmware
    Error light is on An error has occurred. Turn the scanner off and then back on again. If the error continues, contact Epson for support.
    Error light is flashing The firmware update has failed and the scanner is in recovery mode. Try updating the firmware again. If the error continues, contact Epson for support.
     Wake Up/Sleep light is on The scanner is in sleep mode; press the  Wake Up/Sleep button to wake it up
    All lights are off The scanner is turned off
