I'm scanning a color document but the image is too dark. What should I do?

Try the following:
- You may need to perform a calibration. See Calibrating the Scanner for details.
- Check the Brightness setting. See Adjusting the Color and Other Image Settings for details.
- Check the brightness and contrast settings of your computer monitor.
