I see the message You cannot send the email. Confirm the settings on my Mac, when I use the Attach to Email feature in Epson ScanSmart. What should I do?

  • To use the Attach to Email feature, your email account must be configured in the Apple Mail Client. To allow access, do the following:

    1. Open the menu, select System Preferences or System Settings > Security and Privacy.
    2. Click the Privacy tab, then click to allow editing. If necessary, enter the password and click OK.
    3. Select Automation, and click the Mail checkbox for Epson ScanSmart.
    4. Click .
    5. Open Epson ScanSmart and try using the Attach to Email feature.
