I can't take a picture with the camera. What should I do?

  • The batteries may be low. If you see the low battery icon, recharge or replace the batteries or use the optional AC adapter. The flash may be recharging. Wait until the status light turns green, and try again. The camera may be full. Check the picture counter on the display panel. Erase some pictures, or transfer the pictures to your computer and then erase them. Make sure your CompactFlash memory card is installed. You may need to format your CompactFlash memory card. Check to see if a message is displayed on the camera's LCD screen. The camera may be connected to your computer. When it's connected, you can't use any of the controls on the camera itself. See your user's manual for instructions on taking pictures from your computer.
