Can the product be turned off?

  • Yes, the Perfection 1640SU can be turned off while the computer is on. Because USB is Plug and Play, the system will find the scanner when it is reconnected and powered on. If your system hangs after turning off the scanner, try disabling Event Monitoring in Scanners and Cameras first.
