The LCD image is dark or nothing appears on the LCD screen.

• The camera may have shut off automatically. Press the shutter button halfway down or turn the camera Off and then back On to View or Play mode. Make sure the lens cover is removed. Check your batteries and make sure they are installed correctly. Recharge or replace the batteries if necessary. Make sure the dial is set to LCD mode.
