The lens remains extended and won't retract into the camera. What should I do?

• If the battery power is depleted while the lens is extended, handle the camera with caution, until you can install a fresh set of batteries or connect the camera to an AC adapter. Power the camera On and then OFF to retract the lens automatically. Never attempt to manually push or force the lens back into the camera. This will damage the mechanism used to position and focus the Lens. If the batteries are good and it still will not retract then you should contact Epson technical support for service.
