The X-Rite i1Scanner/iProfiler color management software that came with my Epson Perfection V850 does not launch on my new Mac. Why?

• X-Rite has informed Epson that the X-Rite i1Scanner/iProfiler color management software will not run on a Mac with M1. There is currently no workaround. X-Rite plans to update the software.
