I installed new ink cartridges and my product seems to be doing a long cleaning cycle. Is this normal?

• When an ink cartridge is installed into the printer, it will take approximately 2 minutes to charge the ink system and initialize the printer. Never turn off the printer until the printer has not moved or made noise for over 5 minutes. This initialization is a normal and necessary process. If it does not stop, the printer may need service and you should contact Epson technical support for assistance.
