My product sounds as though it is printing, but nothing prints. What should I do?

  • The print head nozzles may be clogged. Perform a nozzle check pattern to make sure the nozzles are clean. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed pattern. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed pattern. Each color block pattern should be complete, with no stripes. If there are stripes, run a cleaning cycle followed by another nozzle check. Perform up to 3 cycles if necessary to see if it improves. If the nozzle check is not printing completely, and if the head cleanings do not help the nozzle check pattern to print completely, try replacing the ink cartridge. If this doesn't help, your printer may require service and you should contact EPSON technical support for further assistance.
