Will I have trouble using an 802.11b wireless adapter in my computer if there's already a network interface card installed?
- Some operating systems, e.g., Windows 98, appear to have problems operating two network interface cards which are installed simultaneously. The problem may be solved by either physically removing one of the NIC's or by disabling a NIC in the system properties hardware profile. Windows/XP appears not to have trouble with more than one NIC.
