When I print, my product cuts off some of the characters on the right side of the page. What should I do?
-
In some older applications you can resolve character clipping by enabling fractional character widths. Do the following:
AppleWorks:- Open your document.
- Click Edit, then Preferences.
- Topic should be set to Text.
- Below Options, check Fractional Character Widths.
- Click OK to print the document.
- When the file is saved, the setting will be saved with it.
Microsoft Word 98- Open your document.
- Click Tools, then Preferences.
- Click the Print tab.
- Below options for current document only, select Fractional Widths.
- Click OK to print the document.
- When the file is saved, the setting will be saved with it.
WordPerfect- Click File then Page Setup.
- Below Options, make sure Fractional Character Widths is ON.
When other Macintosh programs are affected, you can also try to disable Smooth all fonts on screen.- Click Apple, Control Panel, then Appearance.
- Click Font, then disable Smooth all fonts on screen.
- Close Appearance then restart and try printing again.
