Does the type of paper I use really make a difference?

• This printer will work with a variety of papers and media, but for best results it is important to use paper that works best with Epson's long-lasting and water-resistant DuraBrite pigmented inks.
  
  Epson Matte Paper Heavyweight, Epson Premium Semigloss Photo Paper, Epson DuraBrite Glossy Photo Paper and Epson Premium Bright White Paper have been developed to produce the highest-quality output with DuraBrite inks. For optimum image quality and longest print life (up to 70 years), print your photos with Epson Matte Paper Heavyweight. For best results with your everyday printing, use Epson Premium Bright White Paper.
  
  Other brands of paper may not work as well with DuraBrite inks. These papers may give you lower-quality color images and they will not have the longevity of Epson's long-lasting media. The ink may also not dry properly.
