How can I stop my product from feeding multiple pages at the same time?

  • If multiple pages feed, follow these steps:
    1. Remove the paper from the sheet feeder.
    2. Fan the edges of the sheets.
    3. Reload them against the right side of the feeder.

If you're using multiple sheets of Matte Paper in sizes larger then letter, attach the matte sheet support to the top of the sheet feeder. See Loading Multiple Sheets of Matte Paper for more information.

If you're using Epson Watercolor Paper, Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper, Epson UltraSmooth Fine Art Paper, PremierArt Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper for Epson or heavy set paper, load the paper in the single sheet guide. See Loading Special Paper in the Single Sheet Guide for more information.
    4. Slide the left edge guide snugly, but not too tightly, against the paper. Don't load paper above the arrow on the left edge guide and make sure it is under the tabs on the left and right edge guides.
If that doesn't help, make sure the paper you're using is not too thin or too thick. If it is very humid, the paper may have absorbed moisture and should be replaced with dry paper. If necessary, try different paper from a new package.
