My printout has incorrect margins. What should I do?

  • If you're copying or printing, first make sure the paper is loaded correctly. See Loading Paper.

    If you're copying using the buttons on the CX7000F, the problem could be related to either of the following:If you're printing from your computer, the problem could be caused by a software setting. See The margins are incorrect.

    If you're printing from a web browser, the pages may not print correctly due to the web page design. Try one of the following:Check to see if there is a Printer Friendly Version (or similarly named) icon or link on the web page that you can click on.
  • Experiment with page setup and paper size, then select Print Preview from the File menu in your application to view the changes.
If you're scanning, make sure you've aligned the document correctly. See Placing Originals for Scanning.
