My product doesn't detect my photos placed on the scan bed when I use the reprint/restore function on the control panel. What should I do?

  • Check the following:
    • Make sure the scan bed glass is clean and free of finger prints, smudges, etc. (When cleaning the glass, spray the glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wipe the glass. Never spray glass cleaner directly onto the scan bed.)
    • Make sure the photos are placed on the scan bed correctly. See Place Originals for Copying, Scanning, or Faxing.
    • When copying two photos (up to 4 x 6 inches), place them 1/4 inch (5 mm) apart as shown below.
