Can I just pull the memory card out of my product when I'm finished printing?

  • No. Before removing a memory card from the printer, make sure the memory card access light is not flashing. Do not remove a card while the card light is flashing, or you may lose data on the card.

If your printer is connected to your computer, you may need to do one of the following, depending on your operating system:

    Operating systemSteps to take
Windows 2000Click the  Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the taskbar. Then click Stop USB Mass Storage Device.
Windows XP, Windows XP Professional x64 EditionClick the  Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar. Then click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
Windows VistaClick the  Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar. Then click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
Mac OS XDrag the memory card icon from your desktop to the trash.
