Can I just pull the memory card out of my product when I'm finished printing?

• No. Before removing a memory card from the printer, make sure the memory card access light is not flashing. Do not remove a card while the card light is flashing, or you may lose data on the card.
  
  If the printer is connected to your computer, do one of the following before removing the memory card or turning it off:
  • Windows:
    
  If you installed the printer using a USB cable, click the or icon on the taskbar and select Safely remove USB Mass Storage Device.
  
  If you installed the printer on a network, make sure that the memory card light is not flashing, then remove the card from the slot.
  • Macintosh:
    
  If you installed the printer using a USB cable, drag the removable disk icon from your desktop into the trash.
  
  If you installed the printer on a network, open the hard drive, click the  eject icon for the memory card, then remove the card from the slot.
