What information do I need to know before I install the product on my wireless network?

  • You'll need to know the following:
    • Wirelss network name (SSID)
(This is the name of the wireless network that is set up on your router or access point.)
    • WEP Key or WPA Passphrase
(This is the wireless network password.)
This information is stored in your network's router, and may have been entered when the router was first set up. If you don't have this information, contact the person who set up your network before you begin. You may also be able to log onto the router from your computer and check its setup screens. See your router's instruction manual for details.

    Note:
The network name and security key or passphrase are case sensitive. Be sure to correctly note uppercase, lowercase, and numeric/special letters.

The all-in-one supports the following wireless security modes: WEP (64/128bit), WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES), and WPA2.
