My printout has incorrect margins. What should I do?

  • If your printed page has incorrect margins, try these solutions:

    Printing
    • Make sure you selected the correct paper size settings in your printing program and product software.
    • Make sure you selected the correct margins for your paper size in your printing programs.
    • Make sure your paper is positioned correctly for feeding into the printer.
    • If you're printing from a web browser, the pages may not print correctly due to the web page design. Check to see if there is a Printer Friendly Version (or similarly named) icon or link on the web page that you can click on.
You can use the preview option in your product software to check your margins before you print.

    Scanning
    • Make sure you've placed the original on the scanner glass correctly.

    Copying
    • Make sure you've placed the original on the scanner glass correctly.
    • Make sure your paper is positioned correctly for feeding into the printer.
    • Make sure you selected the correct paper size on the products's LCD screen using the control panel.
