How do I use the control panel buttons to scan a photo or document to a PDF?

• You can scan an image and save it as a PDF using your product's control panel buttons.

  1. Make sure you installed the product software and connected the product to your computer or network.
  2. Press the button, if necessary.
  3. Press the arrow button to select Scan and press the OK button. The scan options are displayed:

     

  4. Press the arrow button to select the To PC (PDF) option and press the OK button.
  5. Press the arrow buttons to select how you connected your product to your computer.
     • If your product is connected directly to your computer with a USB cable, select USB Connection.
     • If your product is connected to your computer over a network, select the computer name from that list.
  6. Press the start button to start scanning.
