I see the message Could not find computer(s) with Document Capture Pro installed when I try to scan. What should I do?

  • You might not have installed the required software or the product is connected to your computer with a USB cable. Try the following:
    • Make sure your Epson product and computer are connected to the same network.
    • Document Capture Pro and Epson Scan (Windows) or Document Capture and Epson Scan or ICA (OS X) must be installed.

      Note: Restart your computer after installing the software to enable scanning.

    • Make sure Event Manager is not being blocked by your firewall or security software.
    • Make sure one scan job is selected in the Event Setting in Document Capture Pro.
    Try scanning from the product's control panel again. If these steps did not solve the problem, please contact Epson support.
