I can print with a wireless connection on my home network, but not on a VPN (virtual private network). What should I do?

  • When you connect to a VPN, your computer is no longer communicating with your home (local) network, so it can't print to the product. Some VPNs allow for access to the local network. This depends on if your VPN supports the feature and is enabled. Consult with the supporter of your VPN software (such as your IT department) for help. Otherwise, disconnect from your VPN to connect to your home network again to print.

Note: If you set up your product with Epson Connect, you can use Epson Remote Print to print over the Internet from a VPN. To download the Epson Remote Print driver, see the Downloads tab on your product's support page.
