I have just installed the ink cartridges and the ink out light flashes and the pause light stays on. How can I clear my product?

• Make sure the yellow tape is removed from the top of the cartridge and that the cartridge is correctly installed; follow the procedure for replacing the ink cartridge in the Reference Guide. Turn the printer off and back on. If the condition persists, follow the procedures for replacing the ink cartridges and lift the print head locking lever and snap it down firmly to ensure that you have broken the new seal. You should hear a good solid click. If you continue to have difficulties, the printer may need to go in for service. If the printer is within the dealers exchange period, have the printer exchanged.
