I am not getting either black or color on the demo page. What should I do?

  • If this is a new installation or if the cartridges have been recently replaced, follow the procedure for replacing the ink cartridges and try lifting the print head locking lever and snapping it down firmly to ensure that you have broken the cartridge seal. You should hear a good solid click. Try running the demo page again. Perform two cleaning cycles; (COLOR Cleaning)-Press the PAUSE button, then ALT and Print Mode, or (BLACK Cleaning)-Press the PAUSE button, then ALT and Economy/Condensed. If this does not correct the problem, the printer may need to go in for service. If the printer is within the dealers exchange period, have the printer exchanged.
