I am not getting either black or color on the self test page. What should I do?

• Make sure the economy light on the printer is not on. This will ensure that the economy mode option is not selected. Using the instructions on the inside front cover of the printer as a guide, perform a black and then a color cleaning cycle; (COLOR Cleaning)-Press the PAUSE button, then ALT and Economy Condensed, or (BLACK Cleaning)-Press the PAUSE button, then ALT and Load/Eject. If this does not correct the problem, replace the appropriate ink cartridge.
