How do I add printers?

  • You need to install either the Epson DC Agent for ECSP or the Epson ES Agent for ECSP to register printers to Epson Cloud Solution PORT. These agents acquire information from registered printers and send it to Epson Cloud Solution PORT.

    Epson DC Agent for ECSP

    This Agent is installed on a computer on the same network as the printer. It acquires information from registered printers and sends it to the Epson server.

    Do not register the same printer with more than one Epson DC Agent for ECSP. Otherwise, printer information may not be acquired correctly.

    When using this Agent, you do not need an Agent key to register the printer. Check the operating system requirements, then follow the procedures below to download and install the Agent and register printers.

    Epson ES Agent for ECSP

    This Agent is built into the printer. It sends information from registered printers to the Epson server using the built-in Web Config utility.

    Epson ES Agent for ECSP is not available on all printers. In this case, use the Epson DC Agent for ECSP.

    To use this Agent, follow the steps below.

    1. Log in to Epson Cloud Solution PORT, if necessary..
    2. Select Add Printer from the menu on the left.
    3. Click the clipboard icon in the Agent Key field to copy the displayed Agent key.
    4. Use the copied Agent key to enable Epson ES Agent for ECSP on the printer.

    5. Click GO TO PRINTERS on the PORT Home screen to view the list of registered printers.

      When the Agent sends information about the printer to Epson Cloud Solution PORT, the printer is registered to the Printer List.
