How do I add Spectrophotometers to Epson Cloud Solution PORT?

  • You register the Epson Spectrophotometer to Epson Cloud Solution PORT using your smartphone or tablet.

Note: Download the Epson Spectrometer app from your device's app store, if necessary.

    1. Tap the icon for the Epson Spectrometer app (iOS: / Android: ) on your smartphone or tablet.

Note: The Terms of Use screen is displayed the first time you log in. Read the terms, then tap Agree.

    2. Tap Log in. The Epson ID login screen is displayed.

      Important:

If you select Skip, you can operate the spectrophotometer with a Bluetooth connection with your smartphone or tablet, but you will not be able to register the spectrophotometer to Epson Cloud Solution PORT.

If you have already launched the app and selected Skip, turn off the spectrophotometer. If it is connected to the mobile app with a Bluetooth connection, then tap Log in from the menu icon on the color measurement screen.

    3. Enter the Epson Cloud Solution PORT email address and password for Epson ID, then tap Log in. The Spectrophotometer Settings screen is displayed.
    4. If necessary, press the power button to turn on the spectrophotometer.

    5. When the product appears on the app screen, select it to connect.

    6. When you have successfully paired to a spectrophotometer, a message to connect to your device is displayed on the spectrophotometer's LCD screen. Select Yes, then press the Enter button on the spectrophotometer.

The spectrophotometer is now synched with your smartphone or tablet.

From your computer, confirm that the spectrophotometer is recognized by Epson Cloud Solution PORT.

    7. Log in to Epson Cloud Solution PORT, if necessary.

    8. Click GO TO PRINTERS.

    9. Click Spectrometer List in the menu on the left.

Confirm that your spectrophotometer was added to the list by checking the name, model, and serial number of your spectrophotometer.
