What is the 
icon on the Workout Details page for?

The icon allows you to export your workout in a GPX file from the RUNSENSE View web application. GPX (GPS Exchange Format) is an open standard file format. When you export your workout in a GPX file, you can use the file in a variety of software programs.
Note: You can export workouts only from RUNSENSE View on your computer.
