Support Wearables ProSense Epson ProSense 57

What is the stride sensor?

  • It's a sensor built into the product that measures your cadence and distance during workouts. The sensor uses GPS positioning to accumulate data on your stride and acceleration. This data allows it to measure your cadence and distance even when the product cannot receive a GPS signal, such as when you are in a tunnel.

If you have never used the product or if you have not used it for several months, do one of the following outside while the product is on and GPS positioning is active:

    • If there are no obstacles overhead that could block GPS signals, run or walk for approximately 10 minutes.
    • If there are obstacles overhead, such as tall buildings, run or walk for approximately 30 minutes.

This period of time that you spend running or walking will ensure that the product's future measurements are as accurate as possible.
