How do I measure swings?

  • Do the following:
    1. Press and hold the power button on the M-Tracer for at least two seconds to turn it on.

The blue LED flashes once every two seconds.

    2. Enable the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device and make sure the M-Tracer is connected with your mobile device.
    3. Tap on your mobile device to open the M-Tracer For Golf app.

The blue LED flashes twice every two seconds while the M-Tracer is communicating with the mobile device.

    4. Tap Measure > Start.

      The red LED turns on.

To choose the golf club type or shot, tap Stop > Setup. Select the club type and target shot then tap Measure.

    5. Tap Start.
    6. Address the golf ball.

When the product detects that you are standing still (this takes a few seconds), the blue LED turns on.

    7. Swing the golf club.

After detecting the golf ball impact, the blue LED flashes and the data is transmitted to your mobile device. The device will not measure your swing if the impact is not detected.

Repeat step 6 and 7 to record multiple swings.

    8. When you are done measuring swings, tap Stop.
    9. Go to the Analysis page:

      Tap Analysis on iOS.

      Tap Back on Android.

    10. When you are done using the M-Tracer, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn it off.

Note: The M-Tracer automatically turns off when your mobile device screen is not on the Measurement screen for more than 10 minutes.

Remove the M-Tracer from the golf club when you're done measuring swings or if you are going to switch clubs.
