Image Capture cannot find my product that is connected with a USB connection. What should I do?

This may happen if Epson Scan is installed. Currently there is a compatibility issue with EPSON Scan and Image Capture. Try the following:
- Reset TWAIN devices in Image Capture. Follow the instructions below for your product type.
All-in-one Printers
- On your Mac, open Image Capture, then select File > Reset TWAIN devices.
- Close Image Capture.
- Turn off your product.
- Open the Apple menu, then select System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer, then click
to remove the printer.
- Restart your Mac.
- Turn on your product.
Scanners
- On your Mac, open Image Capture, then select File > Reset TWAIN devices.
- Close Image Capture.
- Restart your Mac.
- Uninstall Epson Scan.
- To download the Uninstaller utility, visit the Uninstaller utility page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Uninstaller utility.
- Quit all applications currently running on your Mac.
- Double-click the Uninstaller icon.
- Select the checkbox to uninstall EPSON Scan.
- Click Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the software.
- Restart your Mac.
- Connect your Epson product to your Mac with a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.
- Reset TWAIN devices in Image Capture. Follow the instructions below for your product type.
