Why won't the mouse on the remote function?

• Ensure that the provided serial cable is attached to a working COM port, free from conflicts. Make sure that the "Serial" box is checked on the projector's "Option" menu. Also make sure that their original pointing device is enabled. The remote is designed to work with an existing mouse, not in place of it.
