Can I use my product while the ink tanks are not installed?

• No. The ink tanks must be installed for the printer to operate properly. Epson recommends the use of genuine Epson ink packs with the ink tanks.

  Epson cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-genuine Epson ink. The use of non-genuine ink may cause damage that is not covered by Epson's warranties, and under certain circumstances, may cause erratic printer behavior.
