I see the message Communication Error when I use a USB connection. What should I do?

  • Do the following:

    1. Delete all print jobs in the print queue.
    2. Turn the printer off.

      Note: Make sure the USB cable is connected correctly.

    3. Restart your computer. When the desktop appears, turn your printer on and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Note: If the problem continues, turn the printer off again and delete the printer in the list of printers. Then disconnect the USB cable from the printer and connect it again.
