I see the message Allow “Epson Data Collection Agent” to find device on local networks. What should I do?

• Epson Data Collection Agent is an application that obtains information about your printer (the number of pages printed, paper type, and other usage information) and sends it to Epson. If you agree to share this information with Epson, select Allow.

  After you select Allow, a dialog box will appear with the applications listed below. Select Allow for each application.

  • Edca

  Note: If you do not allow access, the application or your product's features may not work. Due to a security feature in macOS 15, you must grant local network access to any applications that communicate with devices on the network.

  Note: Epson Data Collection Agent does not affect your use of the product in any way, even if you do not allow local network access.
