How do I uninstall and reinstall my printer driver in OS X 10.8?

• Do the following:

  1. Open the  menu, select System Preferences, then Print & Scan.
  2. Select your printer in the list, then click . Press and hold the control key on your keyboard and click anywhere on the printer list. Click Reset Printing Systems. Close the open windows.
  3. Open your hard drive and do the following:
     • Select Library > Printers > InstalledPrinters.plist. Drag the InstalledPrinters.plist file to the trash.
     • Select Library > Printers > Epson. Drag the Epson folder to the trash.
     • Select Applications > Utility > Disk Utility > your hard drive, then select Repair Disk Permissions. Close the open windows.
  4. Reinstall the driver for your product.
  5. Open the  menu, select System Preferences, then Print & Scan.
  6. Click , then select your printer.
