Do the Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta inks have less outgassing than the Epson UltraChrome Inks?
-
Epson UltraChrome K3 with Vivid Magenta inks have about the same outgassing as the Epson UltraChrome Ink sets. So, depending upon the environmental conditions, Epson recommends that you let your prints “outgass” into interleaving papers (Epson Singleweight Matte, Doubleweight Matte, and Presentation Matte all make great interleaving papers) for at least 48 hours before framing.
Note: You must replace the interleaving paper after 24 hours with a fresh sheet. Also be sure to use proper framing procedures, including no contact between the print and the inside of the glass or UV acrylic.
