There is a black box over my image when I select the video source 1, 2, 3, or 4. What could be causing this?

• This happens when external equipment (such as a receiver, DVD player or VCR) is connected to the Composite or S-video connectors on the TV and the Closed Caption setting is set to Text1, Text2, Text3, or Text4.
  
  To remove the black box (as seen in the Video1 screen below), turn off Closed Caption or select another Closed Caption setting such as CC1 or CC2. To change the Closed Caption setting, see Selecting Closed Caption Display in the User's Guide.
