I see a black screen when projecting from some applications through USB Display, NS Connection, or the Quick Connection key. What should I do?

  • USB Display, NS Connection, and Quick Wireless Connection use the projector's image drawing system to display images. This drawing system partially disables Microsoft DirectX drawing features in order to capture Windows Media Player images. This may prevent the projector from capturing and displaying images that are drawn in applications that use the DirectX drawing features.

If you see a black screen when using a specific application, connect to the projector's VGA port instead.

Note: Your projector may not support all three of these display options. Please refer to your projector's documentation for supported display options.
