Can I project images from a computer over a USB connection?
-
Yes, if you are using Windows XP or Vista. The first time you connect your system to the projector via USB, the projector downloads a small driver program to the computer as part of the USB plug and play process. This download takes approximately one minute and is not necessary for subsequent connections to the same computer. Once the driver has been installed, the projector begins displaying what is on the computer's screen. As with other high-speed USB devices, this cable connection is limited to a maximum of 16 feet. Make sure the USB Type B setting on the Extended menu is set to USB Display.
Note: You can't use the remote mouse control function when you use the USB port to project your computer's display.
