Why does my projected video appear to jump off the screen or be in 3D?
-
Moving images (especially those moving from the background to the foreground) can appear to jump off the screen or be in 3D if Frame Interpolation is enabled. For a flat video field (TV/Theater) effect, set Frame Interpolation to OFF.
Note: Frame Interpolation compares the data in two consecutive frames and then creates a frame between them. The refresh rate is then doubled from 60HZ to 120Hz, which helps images appear smoother and cleaner. Frame Interpolation is generally not necessary for optimizing the image quality of most recorded video and broadcast content. It generally works best when playing video games and viewing high definition content such as Blu-ray discs with scenes that contain a lot of action.
