I see the message No Signal. What should I do?

• The projector has an on-screen help system you can use to solve this problem; see Using the Projector Help Displays. If the on-screen help does not solve the problem, check the following:
  • Make sure the cables are correctly connected. See Setting Up the Projector.
  • Turn on the connected computer or video source, and press Play to begin your presentation, if necessary.
  • If you've connected a computer and one or more video sources, you may need to press the Source Search button to select the image source. Allow a few seconds for the projector to sync up after pressing the button.
  • Try restarting your computer.
  • If you've connected a laptop computer, make sure it's set to display on an external monitor.
  If you're using a PC notebook:
  • Press the function key that lets you display on an external monitor. It's often labeled with an icon such as , but it may also be labeled CRT/LCD. You may have to hold down the Fn key while pressing it. Check your laptop's manual or online help.
    
    On most systems, the key lets you toggle between the LCD screen and the projector, or display on both at the same time. Allow a few seconds for the projector to sync up after pressing it.
    
    If that doesn't work, press the ? Help button on the projector for a list of laptop brand-specific button combinations you can press to switch to an external display.
  • If the function key doesn't let you display simultaneously on both screens, you might need to use the Display utility in the Windows Control Panel to make sure that both the LCD screen and external monitor port are enabled. From the Windows Control Panel, open the Display utility. Click the Settings tab, then click Advanced. The method for adjusting the setting varies from computer to computer; you may need to click a Monitor tab, then make sure the external Monitor port is set as your primary display or enabled. See your computer manual or online help for details.
  
  If you're using Macintosh OS X:
  1. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu and click Display or Displays.
  2. Click Detect Displays.
  3. Do one of the following:
     
     Mac OS X 10.6: Click Show displays in the menu bar.
     
     Other versions of Mac OS X: Make sure the VGA Display or Color LCD dialog box is selected. Click the Arrangement or Arrange tab and make sure the Mirror Displays checkbox is selected.
