Part of my image is blurred or out of focus. What should I do?

• Try the following:
  • Adjust the focus.
  • Position the projector close enough to the screen, and directly in front of it.
  • There may be dirt or smears on the lens. See Cleaning the Lens.
  • Make sure the lens is not fogged by condensation. If you've just moved the projector from a cold environment, wait a couple of minutes before using it.
  • Adjust the Sharpness setting on the Image menu. See Image Quality Settings - Image Menu.
  • If you're projecting from a computer, press the Auto button on the remote control to automatically adjust the tracking and sync. If any bands or overall blurriness remains, display a uniformly patterned image on the screen and manually adjust the Tracking and Sync settings. See Input Signal Settings - Signal Menu.
