The image quality is poor when viewing presentations using some apps with the device docked on my product. What is wrong?

• This is an Apple device limitation. The workaround to project at a higher resolution is connecting the Apple device externally using the optional Apple Digital AV adapter or Apple VGA adapter.
  
  Note: The output resolution is fixed to one resolution depending on the Apple device, regardless of the content resolution.

  480p/576p: iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation), iPod nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad.
  
  480i/576i: iPod touch (1st generation), iPhone 3G, iPhone.
